Decor & Party Favors for a Soccer Themed Birthday Party

You guys… my BABY turned TEN, double digits, the big 1-0. SOMEONE PINCH ME.  Ashton wanted a soccer themed birthday party so we had it right at home in our backyard. I wanted to keep it pretty simple, well, I tried! We decided the main colors would be black and white. Sticking with the soccer theme, we painted a soccer field on the grass using Rust-Oleum Industrial Choice White Athletic Field Marker.

We had custom t-shirts made so the boys could form teams. For the t-shirts, I went through a company called custom ink. They were wonderful to work with! I tried a few different companies and I found custom ink to have the easiest website to navigate for designing a shirt. I actually ended up needing to call their customer care for help on changing the font color per shirt and the lady I had was so helpful and there was barely any wait time to get through to them which is always greatly appreciated for us moms!

Sweet Treats for a Soccer Themed Birthday Party

Ashton has gotten his cake done by Cara from Crumbtastic Cakery since his 2nd birthday! We are always blown away by her talent and how delicious her cakes are! The cake base that Cara uses is an almond butter flavor and it’s just too good. Especially with raspberry filling! These sweet treats just added the perfect finishing touches to this soccer themed birthday party.

Outdoor Activities for a Soccer Themed Birthday Party

This party was so easy to set up! Along with the soccer field I also ordered an obstacle course from Nelson’s Rentals in Viroqua. The kids played soccer, competed in an obstacle course competition and were entertained for hours!

Ashton’s grandma reached out to the La Crosse Loggers to see if his favorite semi-pro baseball player could stop by and sign t-shirts for the boys. He was so sweet and agreed to come by which made all of their day! He even brought Ashton a signed wooden baseball bat!
