Love is a beautiful thing, and when two souls find each other, it’s a cause for celebration. Our wedding day was a dream come true, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will last a lifetime. In this blog post, we invite you to join us as we relive the magic of our special day and share the details of our wedding day.
The Venue
Choosing the perfect venue was crucial to creating the ambiance we desired for our wedding. It was a no brainer when we decided to have the wedding at Austin’s Family’s beautiful property right around the pond where we’ve shared SO many memories, including our engagement.
The Colors
To infuse our wedding with a touch of elegance and romance, we opted for a color palette of neutrals, creams, whites, golds and A LOT of greenery.
The Morning of the Wedding
The morning of our wedding was filled with anticipation and excitement (and a lot of nerves!) While we got ready, the girls and I raised our glasses in toast of champagne. Among the many special moments of the morning, the first look with my almost husband stands out as a truly cherished memory. As we stood on the front step of the cabin, our hearts pounding with anticipation, we shared a private and intimate moment. After that, we shared another private moment and did a first look with our boys. The tears were absolutely flowing at this point and it was a moment I will never forget.
The Ceremony
One of the standout features of our wedding ceremony was the mirrored aisle that we decided to incorporate. We wanted to create a visually stunning and unique experience for both our wedding party and guests. We had our eldest son, Ashton walk down the aisle as the “Little Best Man” and our son, August did an amazing job walking down the aisle as our Ring Security. It created an emotional yet fun moment that started the ceremony off on a fun, laid back note. Just as we were hoping.
After the ceremony, I remember walking down the mirrored aisle hand in hand with Austin. It was a surreal experience. With each step, we caught glimpses of ourselves and each other, as if the mirrors were reminding us of the beauty of our union. It felt as though we were walking through a tunnel of love and reflection, encapsulating the deep connection we shared.
Cocktail Hour
Our second tent was transformed into an enchanting garden of culinary delights. As guests mingled and enjoyed their drinks, they were treated to a feast for the senses, with an abundance of fresh seafood, charcuterie, and a table filled with delectable meats and cheeses. We can’t leave out the star of the show, the champagne wall. It created a fun action scene that everyone (even the kiddos) were able to enjoy. Our beloved 4 Sisters restaurant brought our vision to life and built us a large green wall with a bell. Each time a guest rang the bell a white gloved hand popped out of the green abyss with a glass of champagne (and kiddy cocktail for the kids). That quickly became one of the highlights of the wedding!
The Decor: Elegant Simplicity
We aimed to create an atmosphere of refined simplicity, allowing the natural beauty of the venue to shine through. Delicate floral arrangements adorned the tables, featuring a combination of white roses, baby’s breathe, and greenery, exuding a subtle fragrance that wafted through the air. Soft candlelight scattered along the center of each table added a touch of romance, casting a warm glow upon the room as the evening progressed.

Our first look into the reception tent was filled with emotion. All the hard work and vision we dreamt up with our wedding planner finally came to life and it was such a surreal experience
The Reception
The reception was a joyous affair, filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a lot of dancing. The delectable cuisine delighted our guests, and the live band set the perfect tone, ensuring the dance floor was never empty. Our first dance as a married couple was a magical moment. It was captured by our live painter, encapsulating the love and happiness we felt in that very instant.

Our dessert was inspired by our first NYE spent together at our favorite restaurant called The SW located at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The amazingly talented Jen from Meringue Bakery recreated it perfectly!

Choosing our featured drinks during the wedding planning process was quite possibly my favorite part..why wouldn’t it be, right?! With a fall wedding we just had to have a nice fall drink so we chose Captain Morgan with apple cider and some other deliciousness called Apply Ever After. A vodka drink with organic honey and lemon juice called Call Me Reinhart. And my favorite, a tequila drink called The Willow named after my beloved cat, Willow. We used 818 Tequila for that one and it did not disappoint!
The Memories: Captured Forever
Having a talented photographer and videographer was crucial to capturing the essence of our wedding day. Every smile, every tear, and every tender moment was expertly captured.

We were admiring the most magical cotton candy sky. I mean, could you dream of a better sunset on your wedding night?!
