Where it all started…
It all started with some cute (but random) easter bunny and carrot shaped paper plates from TJMaxx. I had a couple friends over for a play date with our babies one day and we made them lunch but I only had one toddler size table with two chairs in the kitchen. Luckily, I had a couple more of the same table scattered throughout the house so we grabbed them and put them together so the kiddos could all eat together. How cute, right?!
I quickly realized how fun it was to make cute little lunches when we have play dates so naturally, I had to make it extra. So, I invited my friends back over for an Easter play date with the cute Easter bunny and carrot plates in mind. I grabbed a few more party favors to add to the cuteness and picked up some groceries to make cucumber sandwiches. And that is how the toddler party tradition began!
Tablescape Details for Toddler Easter Party
I purchased the bunny and carrot plates from TJMaxx during the Spring so these aren’t linkable but take this as inspiration for your very own Easter party for your littles! Will the table scape stay this beautiful the whole time with toddlers? Nope! But, it was still so fun to see their little eyes light up when they saw their table all decorated!
I decided to add a paper plate “charger” underneath the bunny and carrot plates for their bigger foods. The green gingham napkins paired with the baby blue utensils really just made the Easter vibe come to life!
The arched wooden baskets came from the Target dollar spot. Target usually has some version of this each year so keep your eyes peeled! The adorable little cardboard carrots that act as treat boxes. You can fill those with jelly beans, Cadbury eggs, you name it!
Food Details for Toddler Easter Party
Food! Arguably the most important part of any party, right?! I went with veggie cups, fruit cups, bunny bait, peeps bunnies (a must) and some delicious cucumber sandwiches! All of the snack cups are from the site Meri Meri. They have the most adorable party favors and supplies! Veggie and fruit cups are self explanatory but I’ve included the recipe for the sandwiches and bunny bait below.
Bunny Bait Recipe:
-1 box of Annie’s bunny grahams
-1/2 bag of small marshmallows
-1 bag of pastel m&ms
-1/2 bag of spring yogurt pretzels
