I knew I wanted this day to be special. When it comes to one of the biggest days in your life you want everything about it to be perfect. Especially the people who surround you on such a special day in you life. When it came to choosing the beautiful women I want to stand by my side it was a no brainer for me that these girls are the perfect choice for me.
Now lets talk design!
Im a very neutral kind of gal in all aspects of my life so I knew I wanted to stick with that. I also think that neutral/simple colors help your photos look clean, crisp and timeless and since I was planning on documenting this experience that was really important to me.
Boho and Neutrals was the goal!
The boho vibe
I love a good pampas grass so incorporating that into the tent was a must. I wanted this experience to be relaxing and I wanted it to be more than just going out and drinking (we’ll save that for the bachelorette party) so I started to brainstorm what all of these girls have in common and I came up with a spiritual awakening vibe. I thought that would be perfect for some deep bonding time seeing as we’ll be spending a lot of time together in the next year.
I went to our local crystal shop called 6-1-1 Crystals and asked for information on local psychics and that’s where I found Sara from spiritual tides who agreed to host our event!
Sara was so great! She did personal readings for all of us, tarot readings, we talked chakras and she gave us each a sweet gift!
I had a vision on what I wanted the inside of the tent to look like but we had the hardest time finding the perfect table so luckily a family friend made one for us and I am beyond happy with the turn out. The notebooks were super easy to make all I used was white notebooks from amazon and velvet ribbon to give it a nice touch.
The bridal proposal boxes were so much fun to create!
I purchased the personalized boxes off of etsy and the personal cards were also from etsy. Christian Louboutin is a theme we have within the wedding party so I had to throw something CL in there. The rose quartz stone was something I felt drawn to while at the crystal shop, a gold hair clip and some champagne gummies to tie it all together!
After the fun spiritual journey
We celebrated the fun upcoming year with some champagne and laughs! I highly recommend having a Bridal Proposal day to start off the fun activities and create even closer bonds between you and all of your favorite girls!
